Ind vs NZ : The 3 ODI series has started between India and New Zealand from today, in the very first ODI match New Zealand defeated India by 7 wickets. Tom Latham scored a brilliant 145 for New Zealand, while skipper Kane Williamson also scored a 94 as India suffered a crushing defeat in the first ODI.

India won the toss and elected to bat first, and made 306 in 50 overs, with captain Shikhar Dhawan scoring 72 and Subman Gill scoring 50. Shreyas Iyer, who came to bat at number three, scored 80 runs in which he hit 4 fours and 4 sixes. After that the middle order could not do anything special and wickets kept falling at frequent intervals.

New Zealand wicket-keeper batsman Tom Latham scored his seventh ODI century. He completed his century off 76 balls. Latham hit four fours and a six in the 40th over of Shardul Thakur. After which the victory slipped out of India's hands.
